How do you know that you truly know God? It's not about checking boxes or following rules—it's about a living, breathing relationship with the One who speaks to you today.

In 1 John 2:3-6, we're reminded that knowing God means keeping His commandments—not the 613 laws of old, but the heart of it all: loving God and loving others. When we gave our lives to Christ, He didn't just save us and leave us comfortable. He calls us to grow, to listen, to follow His leading through the Spirit.

Here's the beautiful truth: God wants to speak to you. He's specific in His direction, and when you follow, He gives you the power to do what He asks. This isn't about gritting your teeth through spiritual disciplines—it's about wanting to know Him more deeply. Read your Bible to know the Author. Pray to hear His voice. Walk with Him, and He will lead you.
