Nick Adams
Pastor
At thirty, I surrendered my life to Jesus, and everything changed. I began serving in high school and young adult ministry, helping others grow as followers of Christ.
In 2010, God called me to northern Uganda. Years of short‑term missions—and later living there in 2018–2019—deepened my faith and broadened my vision for His kingdom. In 2017, I completed the Ellerslie Discipleship Training as preparation for missions.
In 2019–2020, I walked through a painful divorce, yet God was faithful and brought healing through His Word. In 2022, He brought restoration, and I remarried.
In a surprising twist, God led my wife and me to Sandpoint, Idaho, where I now serve as the lead pastor of Bridges Sandpoint. My first calling is to love and serve this community—living out the heart of John 3:17, that Jesus came not to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved. Our desire is to walk with people here in Sandpoint as they discover the hope and restoration found in Christ. At the same time, God has woven Uganda deeply into our story, and we continue to cherish those relationships. As He leads, we still travel with teams to encourage and support the ongoing ministry there.
