Mark Jones | Jesus' Triumphal Entry | March 29, 2026
Mark Jones | Sunday AM Service | Bridges Sandpoint
This Palm Sunday, we remember the moment 2,000 years of prophecy converged on a single path. Jesus descended the Mount of Olives, not as the conquering warrior the religious leaders expected, but as the sacrificial Lamb chosen on the very day lambs were selected for Passover.
The entire Old Testament—over 350 prophecies—pointed to this moment. From Genesis to the Garden of Eden's fall, from Abraham binding Isaac on Mount Moriah, God was preparing the way for one final sacrifice. The religious leaders missed it because they were looking for someone to free them from Rome. They didn't realize Jesus came to free them from something far greater: sin itself.
As Jesus set His face toward Jerusalem, He knew what awaited—betrayal, mockery, the cross. Yet He came anyway. The question Jerusalem asked that Friday night still echoes today: Who is Jesus? Join us as we journey from Palm Sunday to the empty tomb and discover the answer that changes everything.
